Talented jockeys vie for position on the outback track, testing their skills and pitting their steeds against each other. Ringers and stockmen compete with rodeo riders who travel great distances for a chance to take home some well-won prizes and trophies.
The days’ entertainment flows well into the night with great music and dinner in the picturesque outback setting of the Laura Rodeo grounds.
Free camping facilities at the Rodeo grounds include hot water showers and shared amenties. Food stalls are available in the daytime and refreshments including a licensed bar are available throughout the weekend.
