The Dry Season (May to December) has fresh tropical breezes. Daily sunshine averages around 7 hours and average temperature is 27˚C.

The Wet Season (usually January to March) brings renewed life in spectacular fashion to both rainforest and outback savannah. The Wet is an ideal time to see the waterfalls in full flow and enjoy incredible fishing conditions.

The wet is a great time to see the Western Cape, The Tip and Iron Range, all of which remain open for fly-in visitors. Fishing in the wet remains plentiful and the wetlands and rivers come alive! Most roads north of Laura are subject to flooding and may be closed during periods of the Wet.
